Yesterday February 2nd
was the first anniversary of the death of a very important man in my life, my
uncle Polo. This made me think deeper about the essay I have to write in my
English class. I have to choose three songs with the same topic but different main
ideas. My topic is been a parent, this is what made me think, my uncle left
behind his 2 daughters and his son. Being a parent is the best give someone
ever receive Like John Lennon said in his song “Beautiful Boy,” he will be
always with is son no matter what. A question came to my mind now, what happen
after you die, how will take care of your child. I guess love, memories and
education is what parents left after they gone.
Ps. Dont worry Tio Polo we will always have your memories and we will take care of your two girls and your boy NO MATTER WHAT......
I like how with your essay, you're writing about something relevant and important to your life .. being a parent. Writing about something you care about, even if it is through songs, makes your paper that much better because its something you can relate to and put a lot of thought into.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Maria - readers can tell when an author "feels" the subject. When the writer is bored, the reader is bored, too. Similarly, when the author feels passionate, the readers picks up on the passion. So, for me, it's about finding a topic that I feel strongly about. Otherwise, I risk boring myself AND my readers.
